Welcome to the Galtee Walking Club. Slievenamuck Marathon and Half Marathon 2018, 10th Anniversary Event. The annual Slievenamuck Marathon and Half Marathon, organised by the Galtee Walking Club, took place on Sunday March 25, 2018. The event was open to walkers and runners and was mainly on forest tracks and paths on the Slievenamuck Ridge, overlooking the scenic Glen of Aherlow and the Galtee Mountains. A total of 109 people took part in perfect weather conditions.
